8. Sovereignty is Allāh’s
أَمْسَيْـنا وَأَمْسـى المـلكُ لله
وَالحَمدُ لله لا شَرِيكَ لَه
لا إلَهَ إلَّا هُوَ وإِلَيهِ الْمَصِيرُ

Evening has come upon us and sovereignty is all Allāh’s. Praise is due to Allāh alone, He has no partner. There is no god but Him, unto Whom is the return.
Amasayna wa amasal-mulkullahu wal-hamdulillahi la sharika lahu, la ilaha illa huwa wa ilayhi al-maseer.
فَاذْكُرُونِي أَذْكُرْكُمْ وَاشْكُرُوا لِي وَلَاتَكْفُرُونِ
Abu Hurayrah (radu) said: “The Messenger of Allah (sas) when he rose in the morning, used to say [this dua]. When the evening approaches, he used to say [this dua].”
